A database manager next to your agents
You don’t need a separate tool to try the migration an agent wrote or look at a table. The Database page in the navbar brings PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB and SQLite connections together, and you can give your agents access under rules you set.

Connections
Define a connection once; the password is stored encrypted. Connect through an SSH tunnel over your saved servers, and use SSL/TLS.
- PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB and SQLite.
- Read-only connections are opened read-only on the server side too.
- Mark a connection as production and it shows in red, with changes asking you first.
Tables, SQL and schema
Open a table from the object tree, filter it and edit cells in place; changes are saved in a single transaction. The SQL editor has autocomplete, run selection or all, EXPLAIN plans, cancel, history and saved queries.

Agent database access
Turn on “agents can use this database” in the connection settings and agents that take MCP can run queries through the agentvera-db tool. Agents never see the password; every request goes through rules inside the app and is logged.
- Access is off for every connection by default; when on, the mode defaults to read-only.
- The other modes are ask on changes and data changes allowed.
- At most 50 statements run per call.
- Every query an agent ran shows in the connection’s log.

Which databases are supported?
PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB and SQLite.
Can agents delete data in my database?
Not unless you turn access on, and then the mode starts as read-only. You switch it to ask on changes or data changes allowed yourself.
Does the AI button send my data?
It sends table and column names and your request to Anthropic through the Claude Code on your computer and your Claude account. Table rows are not sent.
