Team kanban: hand a card to an agent, see the result on the card
The team kanban lives in the desktop app, behind the Kanban button in the navbar. You link a local project to a cloud project in your organization; your team’s cards, comments and assignments are shared, while your code and local folder stay on your machine.
This feature is in the Pro and Team plans. On the free plan it shows as locked; sign in with your AgentVera account and upgrade to unlock it. Compare plans
The board
After signing in, link the local project to a cloud project in your organization: pick an existing one or create one with the same name. The server never learns your local folder; only cards, comments and assignments are shared.
- Default columns: To do, In progress, Test, Done. Rename lists or add new ones.
- Drag cards between lists; changes update live on your team’s screens.
- Labels, members, due dates, rich-text descriptions, checklists and an activity history.
- Attachments up to 25 MB by drag and drop or paste, with image thumbnails.
- Comments; ones only your team sees are marked as internal notes.
Assign a card to an agent
The “Assign to Claude” or “Assign to Codex” button in the card window starts a local agent with the card as its task and adds a note to the card. When the agent finishes its turn, its last reply (up to 4,000 characters) is posted as a card comment and the card moves to a Test or Review column.
- The agent runs on your computer with your own CLI login.
- The reply posted to the card shows on your team’s board, so that text goes to the AgentVera server.
Public boards and guests
A board with a share link opens live on the web at /b/<link>. Guests sign in with a link sent to their e-mail that lasts 15 minutes, then open cards, comment or attach files as far as the board allows.
Not in the app yet
Some parts are ready on the server but their screens are still coming.
- Creating client boards and moving a client card to the developer board.
- Turning on a share link and setting guest permissions.
- Joining by Google Workspace domain and the organization audit log.
Questions
Which plan includes the kanban?
The Pro plan includes 10 boards and the Team plan unlimited boards. The free plan has no boards.
Does my code go to the server?
No. The server never learns your local folder; only cards, descriptions, comments, attachments and assignments are shared. When you assign a card to an agent, the agent’s last reply is also posted to the card.
Which agents can take a card?
Claude Code and Codex for now.
Can my clients see the board?
They can view a board with a share link on the web and, if allowed, sign in by e-mail to open cards and comment. The screen for turning sharing on isn’t in the app yet.
