A desktop app for Kiro CLI
AgentVera opens kiro-cli chat in a real terminal. Model and effort are set per agent, and you can put Kiro in the same flow as Claude Code or Codex.
Kiro in AgentVera
- Command
kiro-cli- Install
curl -fsSL https://cli.kiro.dev/install | bash- Sign-in
- Kiro uses its own login (kiro-cli login); if you’re signed out, the agent’s terminal asks you to sign in.
- Model
- Left empty, Kiro’s default model is used. List models with kiro-cli chat --list-models.
- Effort
- Low, medium, high, extra high and max (--effort).
- Role
- Kiro CLI has no extra-instructions flag; use AGENTS.md or rule files for lasting instructions.
- Session resume
- Kiro picks its own ids; when continuing, the agent opens with its session id or the folder’s latest session.
- MCP and browser
- AgentVera’s MCP servers aren’t passed to Kiro.
What every agent gets
Side-by-side panes
The agent opens in the same grid as the project’s other agents; the layout is remembered per project.
Flows
When the agent finishes a turn, its reply goes through a template to another agent; turn limits stop loops.
Automatic code review
When a turn ends, the code it wrote is reviewed by the Claude model you pick, with findings linked to file:line.
Telegram notifications
Finished turns, errors and flows waiting for approval reach your phone; reply to message the agent.
Queue and broadcast
Queue a message while the agent is busy, or send one message to the agents you pick.
Picks up where it left off
An agent that has received a message returns to its conversation when the app reopens.
Questions
Which models does Kiro offer?
See the list with kiro-cli chat --list-models in a terminal; the model you choose is passed with --model.
Can I give a Kiro agent a role?
Kiro CLI has no extra-instructions flag, so lasting instructions come from AGENTS.md or rule files in the project.
